Is it oatmeal, a warm smoothie bowl, or a chia pudding? I don’t know, and I don’t care, I’m just obsessed! This recipe has been on repeat in the Hanway House (I had it twice yesterday, I’m not going to lie), and it’s so nice being able to have a warming bowl of deliciousness on cold mornings that is low carb, protein and fat based, and fibre packed. And did I mention there are 2 servings of veggies too?
Also, it tastes amazing! I’ve paired vanilla, cinnamon, almond and Himalayan salt (wonderful for supporting your adrenals first thing in the morning), for an incredible sweet and salty flavour combination that will keep cravings at bay until lunchtime…
Almond, Cinnamon and Pink Salt Warm Smoothie Bowl
20g vanilla collagen or plant based protein powder
1 cup frozen cauliflower rice
1 cup grated zucchini
2 tablespoons flaxseed
1 tablespoon chia seed
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
large pinch Himalayan salt
1/5 cups almond milk
Place the almond milk and cauliflower rice in a pan and heat until the rice is warm. Add in the remaining ingredients until everything is thoroughly combined and has thickened in texture.
