Both of them are great sources of healthy fats that help keep your skin looking firm and youthful. This is because every cell in your body (including your skin cells) has a cellular membrane, or ‘cell wall’ that is made of fat.
When you eat a diet high in healthy fats, such as the Omega 9 fat found in avocados, or the Omega 6 found in the wild salmon, our cellular membranes get the best building blocks to become plump, hydrated and able to absorb the nutrients needed for glowing skin.
Place all the ingredients except the romaine and microgreens in a bowl, and mix well. Place equal amounts into the centre of the romaine leaves, and top with the microgreens. This recipe is perfect for those following my 8 Week Lean and Clean Program.
