As such, this ensures I get a wide variety of micronutrients which is essential for optimum health and can boost your immune system, and therefore means I eat seasonally, which has both environmental and health benefits.
This week’s box included a huge green cabbage which I wanted to turn into something other than slaw, so I decided on this super quick and easy asian inspired recipe, which is perfect for a low carb lunch or 15 minute dinner.
Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet, and sauté the onions, garlic and ginger until soft. Add the cabbage, and cook for a further 10 minutes or until the cabbage is soft. Add the chicken, tamari and sriracha and cook for a further 3-4 minutes, or until the chicken is warm. Top with sesame seeds and serve. This recipe is perfect for those following my 8 Week Lean and Clean Program.
