I love using New Chapter’s Complete Organic Plant Protein+ in my morning smoothies, as it contains a whole-food-based combination of Mung Beans & Brown Rice with organic Chia, Flax, and Pumpkin Seed for a complete amino acid profile. I always recommend a protein-rich breakfast to my clients, it helps promote satiety and healthy blood sugar balance, and protein-rich foods contain the amino acids that our bodies use to make the calming neurotransmitter dopamine(a recent study in Nutrition Journal concluded that eating a high protein breakfast was best at reducing mid-morning cravings whilst increasing dopamine levels).

Energizing Morning Smoothie
(makes 1 serving)
- ¼ cup frozen organic berries
- 1 serving New Chapter Complete Organic Vanilla Plant Protein+
- 1 serving New Chapter Fermented Maca Powder
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon chia seed
- 1 handful spinach
- ½ cup frozen cauliflower rice
- 1.5 cups almond milk
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
